Our Hackerspace will take over the "Freies Theater Innsbruck" for two weeks from 19th April to 3rd May.
We'd like to offer a series of talks (some highly technical, some for people that want to get into a specific topic), host events like a Repair Café and a tiny Barcamp. Of course we will hang out with people late and maybe stay at the theatre hacking away till dawn.

We will bring all our electronics equipment, 3D printers, workshop tools and caffeinated drinks to the theatre to offer you a productive environment.

If you feel that you could add something to our third Space Invasion, we'd like to invite you for a short term artists residency.

What we expect:

• a tiny kick off talk presenting your previous work
  
• 4-5 days of residency (where we can work together on your and our projects)
  
• Finissage: recap of your work at the theatre
  

We have a budget of 1000€ to cover some travel costs, expenses for materials, accommodation and allowance for one or two artists.

To apply (via email only), we need till the 2nd March:

• Links to your portfolio
  
• A short description of what you'd like to do
  
• Possible time frame(s)
  
• List of (possible) expenses (minimum for your stay, and what you'd like to work on special projects / for performances etc.)
  

We will help you to find an appropriate accommodation that fits your needs if you like (couchsurfing style to a place in an apartment - there will be a solution )

We will decide on the submissions on the 4th of March and tell you ASAP.

Der Hackerspace übernimmt vom 19. April bis zum 3. Mai wieder das Freie Theater Innsbruck.

Euch erwarten wieder Workshops mit Mikrocontrollern, Blinkenlights, glühende Netzwerke und eine gemütliche Atmosphäre um sich auszutauschen.

Auf euer Treffen freuen sich die Hacker und Haecksen vom IT-Syndikat

Am Donnerstag, dem 5. Februar findet ab 9.00 Uhr in der HTL Anichstraße in Innsbruck zum ersten Mal der „Tag der Technik“ statt. Unter dem Motto „Linux und mehr“ werden Hobbyisten und Unternehmen aus der Umgebung (z.B. Barracuda Networks und sigma star gmbh) zahlreiche Vorträge und Workshops rund um das Thema freie Software und Hardware halten. Der Eintritt ist kostenfrei und jeder Interessierte ist herzlich willkommen.

Linux, freie Software und freie Hardware beschäftigt immer mehr Firmen und IT Interessierte. Spätestens seit dem Raspberry Pi trifft sowohl freie Hardware als auch Software auf eine breite Masse. Sei es zur Realisierung der eigenen Hausautomatisierung oder einen Prototypen für ein Unternehmensprojekt, den Möglichkeiten sind keine Grenzen gesetzt.

Ansprechpartner der jeweiligen Unternehmen stehen beim anschließenden Get-together zur Verfügung. Ziel der Veranstaltung ist es Kreativität und Erfindergeist junger Menschen zu fördern und dabei eine Brücke zur Wirtschaft zu schlagen.
